# Bonzah Business

> Bonzah is a daily renter's insurance provider built for independent rental car operators, Turo and peer-to-peer hosts, gig drivers, and software platforms in the rental and mobility space. Partners offer per-24-hour coverage — RCLI, SLI, CDW, and PAI — to their renters at booking, designed to complement the operator's fleet policy. Bonzah Business (business.bonzah.com) is the partner-facing site; the consumer-facing checkout lives at bonzah.com.

## What Bonzah does

Bonzah offers insurance across three audiences in the rental and mobility space:

- **Renters Coverage** — daily coverage purchased at booking, in two tracks:
  - **Personal Use** for leisure renters and everyday trips: Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Renter's Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI), and Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI).
  - **Gig Use** for Uber, Lyft, and select delivery: Auto Physical Damage (APD), Liability, or both bundled.
- **Fleet Coverage** for rental operators — monthly or annual commercial coverage on the operator's vehicles, with Off-Rent Coverage between trips. Available for private rental fleets, Turo and other peer-to-peer hosts, and hybrid operations. Bonzah specializes in operators transitioning off third-party platforms (e.g. Turo) to running independent.
- **Platform Coverage** for rental management software platforms and marketplaces — General Liability, Tech Errors & Omissions, Auto Liability, and Embedded Insurance distribution that puts Renters Coverage directly inside the platform's booking flow so coverage is offered, priced, and bound at checkout.

Geographic coverage: United States and Canada. Coverage is **NOT available** for rentals or car shares originating in **New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania,** or **Canada** for the primary Renters Coverage products.

Partner brands Bonzah works with include ACE Rental Cars, SIXT, Europcar, Avis, Advantage Rent A Car, and Alamo Rent A Car.

## Pricing (per 24h)

Partner-pitch pricing on business.bonzah.com:

- Renter's Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI): from $20.18 / 24h — primary state-minimum liability.
- Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI): $20.18 / 24h — bodily injury per person up to $100,000, aggregate up to $500,000, property damage $10,000.
- Collision Damage (CDW): $26.95 / 24h — up to $35,000 vehicle damage, $1,000 deductible, primary for accidents between vehicles.
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): $6.90 / 24h — renter loss of life $50,000, passenger loss of life $5,000, accidental medical $1,000, personal effects $500.

Coverage is sold in 24-hour increments. Trips are limited to a maximum of 30 consecutive days (extensions issued as new policies, must be contiguous). Insurance must be purchased before the rental period begins.

Note: consumer-facing pricing on bonzah.com may differ. Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), described on bonzah.com at $9.60–$42.80 per calendar day, is not currently sold via business.bonzah.com partner-pitch surfaces.

- Required: signed rental agreement, police report (if another vehicle involved), damage estimates, and incident photos.
- Renter-initiated. Adjudicated by an independent third-party adjuster.
- Typical payout window: **3–5 weeks** after a complete submission.
- All losses must be reported within 30 days of the date of loss.
- Deductibles: up to $1,000 on CDW (per the partner-pitch CDW product), $0 on RCLI/SLI, up to $25 on PAI.
